The lawsuit claims there is an “attitude of indifference” to inmates’ health at the Tulsa Jail.
Three people who were Tulsa Jail inmates died needlessly because the facility’s medical staff “disregarded known and substantial risks to their health and safety,” and documents were falsified to make it appear that two of them died after leaving the jail, a federal lawsuit filed Friday alleges.
The lawsuit, which is being handled by the Tulsa law firms of Smolen, Smolen & Roytman, and Graves McLain, joins several others that are pending in Tulsa federal court that claim the jail is deficient in its treatment of inmates.
