Oklahoma Legal Resources

OKLaw – The goal of OKLaw is to provide the public with easy internet access to basic legal information and legal resources in the state of Oklahoma.

Oklahoma State Attorney General – The Oklahoma State Attorney General’s Office has been part of Oklahoma’s state government since 1907. Attorney General E. Scott Pruitt is the sixteenth person to hold the office.

Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals – The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals is the highest court in the State of Oklahoma with appellate jurisdiction in criminal cases. It is the state court of last resort in criminal matters.

Oklahoma State Supreme Court – The Oklahoma State Supreme Court is a constitutional tribunal consisting of nine Justices, with each Justice selected from one of nine judicial districts. Each Justice sits for a six-year term.

Tulsa County Legal Resources

Tulsa County Court Clerk – In accordance with Oklahoma State Statutes, Tulsa County Clerk Sally Howe Smith is charged with maintaining the integrity of all Tulsa County District Court cases.

Tulsa County District Attorney – As District Attorney and a 26-year prosecutor, Tim Harris is dedicated to the prosecution of criminals within Tulsa County limits.

Tulsa County Law Library – The Tulsa County Law Library has a print collection of more than 25,000 volumes supplemented by CD-ROMs and online databases. Photocopy services, facsimile services, and computer workstations are accessible to the general public.

Tulsa County Bar Association – The Tulsa County Bar Association is a valuable resource for both the legal profession as well as for members of the Tulsa community.

Tulsa County District Court – The Tulsa County District Court oversees all legal proceedings within Tulsa County, and is supervised by the Tulsa County Court Clerk.

Wagoner County Legal Resources

Wagoner County Court Clerk – The office of the Wagoner County Court Clerk is a constitutional office. The duties of the County Clerk are governed by Oklahoma State Statutes.

Wagoner County District Attorney’s Office – Brian Kuester is the District Attorney for the 27th Prosecutorial District. In addition to Wagoner County, this district includes Adair, Cherokee, and Sequoyah Counties.

American Law Sources Online (ALSO) – Provides a comprehensive, uniform, and useful compilation of links to freely accessible online sources of law for the United States, Canada, and Mexico. It also contains sources of commentary and practice aids that are available at little or no charge.

National Legal Resource Center – The National Legal Resource Center Reader is a collaborative effort developed by the United States’ Administration on Aging.

Safety and Injury Prevention Resources

American Trauma Society – The American Trauma Society is committed to eliminating the occurrences of needless death and disability from traumatic injuries.

National Association of Injury Prevention – The Center for Disease Control Foundation forges effective partnerships between the CDC and other organizations to fight threats to health and safety.

International Legal Resources

United Nations International Law – The home of the United Nations International Law page. Learn more about related UN bodies, thematic areas, UN offices, news, tools, and plenty of other international resources.

Global Legal Information Network – The Global Legal Information Network is a database of the official texts of laws and other complementary legal materials from a growing number of jurisdictions throughout the world, compiled by the United States Library of Congress.

ICCLR – The International Centre for Criminal Law Reform promotes the rule of law, democracy, human rights, and good governance in criminal law and the administration of criminal justice on a domestic, regional, and global scale.
